Standard compounds or custom engineered TPE?

When we talk of THERMOLAST KŪ, we are always referring to the TPEs designed and produced by KRAIBURG TPE on the basis of hydrogenated styrene block copolymers. The registered and protected THERMOLAST KŪ trademark underlines our company's market position and the unique quality of our thermoplastic elastomers. 

Our speciality and skill lie in providing you with the optimum THERMOLAST KŪ compound suitable for your product. We then need to check whether one of our Standard compounds from our THERMOLAST KŪ series meets your requirements or whether you require a  ?Custom engineered TPE?. Because our extremely intensive development work on new customer and product-specific compounds results in a multitude of first-class standard TPEs: Immediately available and tested in many industry-specific applications.




Each standard compound has a "first" and a "last name". The "last name" indicates certain characteristics which are typical to that specific standard series.
THERMOLAST KŪ IC series for example covers grades with an excellent compression set, whereas the compounds of THERMOLAST KŪ DC series are easy to decorate or label ...

The family members of a standard series differ mainly in hardness or colour and need therefore their own "first name" = the specific compound number of the  series compounds: e.g. TC6GPN.
