KRAIBURG TPE will be appearing at this year’s FAKUMA trade fair at Stand 5205 in Hall B5, featuring innovative products and services dedicated fully to the guideline concept of “custom-engineered TPE – and more”. The highlight being presented by these specialists in thermoplastic elastomers: the new generation of high-performance TPEs. These offer properties that could be achieved in the past only with high-performance rubber compounds. Over and above that, the company offers its customers individualized services – whenever foamed or colored TPE is needed, for instance. Working with its partners, suppliers and customers in innovation workshops, KRAIBURG TPE continuously develops new solutions to further optimize both products and processes.

Top billing for a new, high-performance TPE
The introduction of this new high-performance TPE gives thermoplastics processing companies access to the world of rubber. This development was worked out in cooperation with LANXESS and initial prototypes are now in the test phase, being examined by clients in the automotive sector and other industries. With their resistance to temperatures of up to 170°C and to media such as motor oils, fuels or greases, the new TPEs offer properties similar to high-performance rubber compounds. What’s more, users profit from lower production costs when processing in an injection molding process – because time-consuming vulcanization and post-production thermal treatment are not required. The range of uses for high-performance TPE compounds includes a wide variety of sealing tasks in vehicle engines, hoses and tubing, wire and cable.

Services all from a single source: custom-engineered TPE and more
Not only does KRAIBURG TPE offer high-quality products, matched exactly to customer needs, but flanks them with service and logistics support, too. The company can, on request, dye the TPE in almost any desired shade, enabling individual product designs. The TPE specialist also has the appropriate package solution when foam is required.
